Prepare yourself for a wild ride with Wicked Tinkers. Pioneers of the growing Tribal Celtic movement, they have been playing haunting, heart-pounding bagpipes and irresistible, tribal drums since 1995. With the addition several years back of the mesmerizing drone of the Australian didgeridoo and bronze-age Irish horn the magic was complete. Sit back and be transported to an earlier time in Scotland and Ireland when battle cries filled the air and strange, unheard-of creatures roamed the night.
Finn MacCool features an Irish born singer who captures the spirit of his own Celtic past with rich tunes. They demonstrates an ability to create new musical ground by combining styles from the past and present - from ancestral roots to the Southern California Landscape they call home. They are so captivating; it is almost as if they swept our listening souls to the lush green rolling hills of Ireland. Finn MacCool produces a powerful impact on any music aficionado
Slugger O’Toole is an LA-based Celtic traditional quintet who share a passion for foot-stomping classics, deft instrumentals and five-part a cappella killers. Few can resist the sing-alongs and find themselves wrapped up in the hand clapping, foot-stomping energy these modern day troubadours produce from the stage.
The Celtic Divas, a six member group that sing lovely ballads with haunting harmonies, will perform for concert goers on the terraced entryway before the show and at intermission. There will also be Irish step dancers and a traditional pipes and drums marching band in full uniform. It promises to be a full night of music, song and dance for the whole family to enjoy! |
